Patmos, Greece

The most beautiful island. There are hardly any tourists. I remember vacationing there for a week when I was young. In the morning when I’d walk with my parents to the little town to get things to eat for breakfast and there would be octopus sun-drying on racks for the restaurants . There was a little pizzaria in the corner of a street that made the best pizza. The only gas station on the island was on the top of the mountain on the same road leading up to the serene monastery. Almost a mile away from the town was a beach in a pretty bay. There were rental shacks for kayaks and a nice restaurant sitting right on the beach. 

I miss this place. I want to go back.
